Special Thanks

We are very grateful to sponsors who made it possible for us to have the following facilities at the GoodHope Village. This has helped us to bring hope to many children who did not have hope in life.

Home

This is the home to our children. GoodHope Orphanage Home houses 100 children.

School

GoodHope Hill Academy admits children from the home and from the community around. At the moment it has a population of 126 children. We hope to increase this number to 240 children. We appeal to sponsors to sponsor children at the home and poor children from the community. We provide quality education to our children.

Landscapping

A good friend of Good Hope has sponsored part of this landscaping. Our children have a small nice place to play.

Playing park

This is children playing equipment. It was sponsored by a well wisher. We thank you for your kindness.

Children playing

As you can see from the picture, children are excited and enjoy playing.

Cow Project

The cow project is a big blessing to GoodHope. It is an eye opener to other projects we intend to start which will lead us to self sustainability.

Hope

This is the first born to Gold. She was born on 24th May 2010.

Tumaini

Tumaini is the first born to Kauto. She was born on 25th May 2010, a day after Hope was born.

Kenya

Kenya is the first born to Miss Norway. He was born on 3rd July 2010

Gold

The first cow that was given to us by a sponsor is called Gold. She gave birth to a female calf called Hope.

Kauto

Kauto is our second. She gave birth to a female calf called Tumaini, a kiswahili ward that means Hope.

Miss Norway

Miss Norway is our third cow that has given birth to a male calf called Kenya.

Ingrivid

Ingrivid, our forth cow still is en calf.

Comment

Children are healthier because of the milk we get from three cows.

Coming soon

Our fifth cow is on the way soon. The cow project will help us start a bio-gas plant. This project will reduce on cooking gas, charcoal and firewood expenses.

Projects

Once again we really thank you for your greate support to this organization. God Bless you abundantly. We are focused to start Chicken, Rabbit and Pig projects in the near future. All these projects are a pointer to self sustainability. The children both at home and school are going to be involved in these projects.
